Paris Fashion Week- Alexander McQueen

Toronto Is Fashion - Alexander McQueen's Spring/Summer 2010

While some collections at Paris Fashion Week really aren’t as amazing as they should be, the runway seems to be saved by the new collection from British designer Alexander McQueen.

Now, we know McQueen may not be every one’s cup of tea. His ideas and inspirations are very avant-garde, and futuristic, but we consider him one of the best designers out today. For McQueen’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection, he certainly didn’t shy away from his outlandish ideas, and created a collection that is more suited for the crew of a shape ship, rather than the fashion elite.

His bold prints, extreme tailored pieces, and sky-high shoes were a complete contradiction to other shows at Paris Fashion Week, that were more subdued. However, Alexander McQueen’s ideas are exciting, invigorating and fresh, and that is why his followers always come back for more. Take a look at the collection and make your own decisions.
