Girl With the Dragon Tattoo for H&M Collection Launch Party

H&M held a party last night for the launch of the new H&M collection inspired by the “Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” movie. The party, held at the Thompson Hotel, featured models wearing the collection, which will be hitting stores on December 14th. The collection was designed by the film’s costume director, Trish Summerville, and features 30 pieces that were based on the film’s title character Lisbeth Salander.

The collection was an assortment of leather jackets and pants, faded shirts and jeans, with tribal inspired accessories. The whole collection had an edgy and punky feel to it, which is exactly how the Lisbeth character was portrayed in the best selling novel. The standout pieces in the collection have to be the leather pants with the knee pad detail and the denim jacket with the leather arms. What do you think of the new collection??
