We Visit Mrs. Bridal Boutique

Just having finished helping my best friend plan her wedding this summer, I thought that I would never want to see a wedding gown again. Then I was invited to check out the recently opened Mrs. Bridal Boutique, and it changed my opinions on weddings. The  owners and long-time friends, Michelle Gunn and Kelly Power, opened the boutique as a one stop location for soon to be brides.

When I walked in I first noticed how open and inviting the store decor was. The store’s first floor features jewellery and accessories for a brides special day, and is open to the public. Once you head up the stairs you understand why brides will come to the store. The second and third floor are for appointments only, and feature a showroom of  wedding gowns from designers Elizabeth Fillmore, Johanna Ho, and Nicole Miller to name a few. The floors feature little when it comes to wall decor, but this helps bring attention to the beautiful gowns which are highlighted by the light from the windows. Guests at the store couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the details of every dress.

Mrs. Bridal opened this summer  in the Yorkville neighbourhood and features acessories and jewelery, and bridal gowns at a wide range of price points. Visit them at 164 Davenport Rd., or head to their website at http://www.mrsbridalboutique.com.

My bridal experience was not half nice as what I have seen on TV shows like say yes to the dress, which I watched almost every Friday. It would not be such an easy decision as they depicted on those shows. I visited 6 store: David's bridal, Richie, White, lea Ann Belter, Classy and Felichia's. I probably tried on over 75 dresses and went back to couple of the stores more than 3 times. I probablly shouldnt have been to White for its price. David's is good for bargain hunters. LAB is great! but I feel their styles are very limited, Richie is just as expected, very Rude service. Girls who leave reviews online so happen to be treated like nobody there. Felichia's is good. good service and variety of good styles. Classy is where I found my dress, I saved $400 there comparing to shop at their competitor store.

Nice place. But sometimes you can find better collection and better service in a small boutique. Recently I visited such store called Bridal Swan in Aurora. Fantastic dresses and excellent service. My recommendations to everyone.
