Canadian retailer Le Chateau hosted media and industry guests at a chic Yorkville bistro, the appropriately french named La Société. Their Spring/Summer 2012 collection was on display and the crowd raved about the collection, which featured bright tops and pants mixed in with cute neutrals, feminine and animal print accessories. The new season for Le Chateau also features a wide range of shoes inspired by different upcoming trends. Perhaps even more talked about than the clothing, guests were often chatting about the newly unveiled plan to change the whole ‘look’ of Le Chateau as we’ve come to know it. The new store design concept is changing the face of Le Chateau and is already being rolled out across the country. The new stores will be more intimate with an all white concept, some impressive merchandising fixtures and an updated logo. The company’s St. Bruno store in Quebec was the first to bring all these plans to the public, which means Toronto will just have to wait for its modern update of this Canadian classic.
