The Kit, a fashion and beauty insert found in many newspapers, has announced that they will be getting a new editor-in-chief who will be taking the brand to a whole new level. The new face at the paper is Christine Loureiro, who has previously worked as the Deputy Life Editor at the Toronto Star. Loureiro will work with the Kit’s staff to continue to bring informative fashion and beauty stories to the Canadian readers.
The new Editor-in-chief replaces Doug Wallace, who was the editor-in-chief since the magazine’s launch. Wallace will remain at the Kit as Chief Content Officer. The Kit gives readers its chic perspective on high fashion, beauty and popular culture, and publishes 10 digital issues a year and a weekly print feature distributed in the Toronto Star, Montreal Gazette, Vancouver Sun and Calgary Herald. The Kit also has an interactive magazine, Kit Chat and TheKit.ca.
