Clothing retailer EXPRESS is gearing up for it’s Toronto Eaton Centre Grand Opening event, happening next Wednesday, November 21st, by giving customers a sneak peek of what the store will have to offer with the EXPRESS Pop-Up Closet. This past weekend the first Express pop-up closet appeared inside the AMC Entertainment Complex at Yonge and Dundas Square.
We stopped by and chatted with the Express staff about the new store, located on the first floor of the Eaton Centre Mall, and got the chance to see some of the new clothing and accessories that will be available at the new location. We were impressed with the cute dress selection for women, a perfect fit for any holiday party, and we couldn’t leave without trying on some of the men’s Fair Isle sweaters. The coloured denim will also be one of our first purchases when the new location opens! The colour stories for both ladies and menswear is on par with current designer trends, and both collections include the season’s hottest must-have items. Unlike most pop-up shops we’ve seen in the city before, Express offered an interactive contest where guests could text in to win clothing, gift-cards and special offers!
If you missed the first Express Pop-Up Closet, don’t worry because there are two more happening in the next week! The next one will be in Dundas Square on Thursday, November 15th, from 11am to 3pm. The second location will be at the Eaton Centre (Level 1 across from MAC Cosmetics), on Friday, November 23rd to November 25th from 11am to 3pm. Both events will have FASHION magazine editors on hand to answer any fashion related questions you may have!
To celebrate the Toronto Eaton Centre grand opening, Express is having a contest where you could win a $1000 shopping spree to the new store when it opens. You can enter the contest by filling out the contest entry form. Make sure you visit the Express Canada website for more information and to check out their full collections.
