Toronto mall, Vaughan Mills, will be getting an $87-Million face-lift with a new redevelopment and expansion project that will be bringing 50 new retail stores and 3 new major tenants! Once the project is completed, the outlet and specialty store mall will be growing 13,935 m2 (150,000 ft2) in gross floor area to help house the new stores, which include the much anticipated Holt Renfrew discount concept store, hr2 (which will take the place of the Holt Renfrew Last Call) and the Legoland Discovery Centre.
In addition to the new stores, the mall will also be receiving 450 new parking stalls, upgraded common elements, a newly-designed entertainment court, and a new entrance. The rest of the new stores have not been announced yet, but more information should be available soon. Construction is slated to begin in Spring 2013.
