Known for bringing an ‘old world’ feel to their collections, this season’s Klaxon Howl presentation took its inspiration from the recent surge of coveted vintage pieces and gave the looks new life with modern tailoring.
High waisted trousers with tapered legs, boxy aviation jackets and a warm colour story completed the runway show. Of course there was the usual, unique styling flare this season in the from of bold hats. Large hats aside, most male consumers will look at the individual pieces as easy to wear, that can be mixed and matched effortlessly. And that is a huge selling point for menswear. We predict the wine coloured, pebble leather varsity jacket will be a big hit with the designers usual Queen Street West clientele.
