Pink Tartan designer Kimberly Newport-Mimran brought a taste of Mad Men to the runway for the F/W 13 season. Sticking with a 1960’s vibe throughout the show, the collection consisted of dresses, jackets, and two-piece ensembles.
Although several silhouettes were displayed in the collection, a favorite for us were the A-line dresses with a hem line skimming just about the knee. The designer presented a really strong, sophisticated collection that would look flattering on most body types. Even though the collection was a big hit, one miss was the blonde wigs used on the models. Disheveled and unflattering, the wigs seemed very out of place, but you should be fine if you keep your eyes on the collection.
The Canadian brand recently launched their online e-store where you can shop for Pink Tartan dresses, knitwear and accessories.
