Moda Operandi’s Aslaug Magnusdottir is said to be leaving the online luxury fashion retailer after having disputes with her co-founder Lauren Santo Domingo. Sources claim that the latter has found Magnusdottir “not hip and cool enough” for the site.
Currently, Magnusdottir is still listed as the CEO on the official website although most of her appearances after the rumor broke out are said to have been done to maintain good public impressions for the company.
There is also a rumor that her decision to leave is still quite new due to her presence at the Met Gala which the site has sponsored recently. In addition to this, it has been noticed that Santo Domingo has made more appearances for the company around the time of the said event compared to her co-founder.
