Gearing up for their annual ‘Suit Drive’ the people at Moores are calling on all Canadians to pitch in and donate a suit. Now entering its 4th year, the annual drive asks that people donate gently used professional attire to a Moore’s location before the end of July. The program helps at-risk men transitioning into the workforce, to feel confident and comfortable for their job interviews. All donations go directly to local program participants taking a significant step closer to self-sufficiency and improving their lives from the inside out.
From July 1-31, Canadians can donate their gently used men’s suits, shirts, jackets, pants, ties, belts and shoes at any of Moores over 100 stores across Canada. To find a store close to you, click here. For those who can’t donate clothing, there is another way to get involved. Put your social media platforms to use (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) and let your friends and followers know about this great cause by using the hashtag #SuitDrive. For each mention, Moores will donate $1 (up to $10,000)! So whether you can donate clothing or use social media, there is no reason not get involved with this campaign. Giving back is always in fashion.
