Hudson’s Bay Company Launches the Team Canada Olympic Collection

Team Canada’s official outfitter for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic and Paralympic Team, Hudson’s Bay Company, has finally unveiled their new Olympic collection.

Key elements featured for this year’s collection include colour-blocking of Canada’s most iconic colours– Maple Leaf Red, Northern White and Winter Night Black, the use of the Maple Leaf symbol as well as the 2014 team Crest and featuring Canada’s most recognizable animals namely the beaver, the loon and the polar bear. More than 30 items given for each Olympic and Paralympic athlete will consist of their uniform, leisure wear, jackets, pants and accessories. These items will be worn for the Opening and Closing ceremonies, podium presentations and while relaxing in the Olympic Village.

Some of the star items available for purchase include the 2014 Canadian Paralympic Tee, the Chunky Knit Canada Beaver Sweater as well as a black and red reversible down jacket.

 

The unveiling of this collection coincides with the Canadian Paralympics Committee’s announcement of their partnership agreement renewal with Hudson’s Bay Company. The partnership will see another eight years of collaboration between the committee and the retail giant.
