Team Canada’s official outfitter for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic and Paralympic Team, Hudson’s Bay Company, has finally unveiled their new Olympic collection.
Key elements featured for this year’s collection include colour-blocking of Canada’s most iconic colours– Maple Leaf Red, Northern White and Winter Night Black, the use of the Maple Leaf symbol as well as the 2014 team Crest and featuring Canada’s most recognizable animals namely the beaver, the loon and the polar bear. More than 30 items given for each Olympic and Paralympic athlete will consist of their uniform, leisure wear, jackets, pants and accessories. These items will be worn for the Opening and Closing ceremonies, podium presentations and while relaxing in the Olympic Village.
“The Collection embodies modernity and classic refinement. Canadians are passionate about their country; they are avid competitors, they are caring and dedicated.
