After ten years of being in downtown Oakville, Squint eyewear is bringing its new store to the residents of Toronto. The new store, the second for Squint, is located in the Yonge and Eglinton neighbourhood at 2501 Yonge St.
The store was abuzz on the opening night as guests and media streamed into the bright and open location. Immediately people began to try on a variety of frames that were cased in rows of open displays. The night was hosted by Phil Birnbaum and Tim Chan, the creators of the eyewear blog The Spectacle, whose photographs were also on display throughout the store.
The new Squint Eyewear store is stationed in a traditional brick building and is rich in history. The space is warm and welcoming, with two large windows that entice those who walk by. The store’s interiors were created by DesignStead; who have expertly curated a space that is comfortable, inviting, and catered towards a one-of-a-kind customer shopping experience.
The new store brings some of the same exceptional services and international brands that were at the Oakville store. Brands available include Bevel, Blac, Cartier, Chrome Hearts, Dita, Etnia Barcelona, Face a Face, Gold & Wood, Lafont, Lindberg, Mykita, Oliver Peoples, Robert Marc, and Theo. With a dedicated and knowledgeable team of opticians or ‘Squinters” as they like to be called, you will find the perfect frame for your face and lifestyle.
