Last week was the launch party for the new Kiwi Move, a wearable technology device and platform that mixes the two worlds of fashion and technology. The little Kiwi Move is a multi-sensor, internet-connected, open wearable technology device and platform that was created by the people at Kiwi Wearable Technologies. The device can be worn on your collar, your wrist or arm and can sense motion, temperature and sound.
The small device weighing only 1 ounce, can communicate with your phone and the internet and features an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometer, thermometer and a microphone. The Kiwi Move can track aspects of your life, like when you wake up, when you leave your house and when you go grocery shopping. We were pretty amazed with the workout fitness feature and the gesture feature that lets you make a music note with your hand to detect a song playing in the background.
You can currently pre-order the Kiwi Move on the Kiwi Wearable Technologies website for the promotional price of $99 and will available to ship in July 2014.
