Holt Renfrew Launches Uncrate India Collection

This season, Alexandra Weston, Director of Brand Strategy at Holt Renfrew is collaborating with Waris Ahluwalia of House of Waris for the Uncrate India exclusive collection.

“The idea behind the ‘uncrate’ concept is to showcase the incredible products of different cultures and support the continuation of these crafts around the world. We began with India and sought to explore the artisanal depth and discover the extraordinary products of the country and tell their extraordinary stories within our H Project shops,” said Alexandra Weston. “We partnered with Waris Ahluwalia as he truly embodies the romance, vibrant culture and sophistication of India.”

The collection launched April 1, 2014 and showcases the different products selected from the duo’s trip in Delhi, Udaipur and Mandawa. Included in this collection are pieces from 16 designers, as well an exclusive jewellery capsule collection from the House of Waris.

Those who would like to check out this exclusive collection can do so at the Bloor Street, Yorkdale, Calgary and Vancouver locations for Holt Renfrew until May 31, 2014. We had a blast at the launch party, and you can check out some of the photos from the party below.
