Gisele Bündchen adds Chanel No. 5 to her string of endorsements as the French fashion house chooses her for the iconic fragrance.
A Chanel spokesperson explained that Bündchen was chosen because of her “natural beauty and modern femininity,”
The Brazilian model will be teaming up with The Great Gatsby director Baz Luhrmann for the perfume’s campaign that will be launched later this year.
Bündchen is currently endorsing Chanel’s Les Beiges make-up line and will be replacing Marilyn Monroe as well as join the list of other previous Chanel No. 5 ambassadors Nicole Kidman, Vanessa Paradis, Catherine Deneuve , Audrey Tautou and Brad Pitt.
Chanel No. 5 was developed by none other than Coco Chanel herself and has continued to be a perfume icon since it was launched in 1921.
