Bay Street becomes the home of Brooks Brothers’ second largest location in Toronto.
The opening of the Bay Street location was announced just this May 2014 making it Brooks Brothers’ seventh Canadian store as well as second flag ship store following the Bay Street location.
The 15,600 feet bi-level store has a vintage design inspired by the 100 year old Brooks Brothers flagship store at 346 Madison Avenue, New York City. The Bay Street location will also be the first in Canada to offer furnishing and home décor. Shoppers will be able to see the full 2014 Spring men’s and women’s collection, the children’s collection Fleece, the Red Fleece label as well as the Black Fleece collection designed by Thom Browne.
Brooks Brothers prides itself in its iconic part in American History. The brand has outfitted Presidents of the United States, was a favourite of icons such as F. Scott Fitzgerald and Katherine Hepburn and has made costumes for the drama Mad Men and Baz Luhrman’s The Great Gatsby. The brand also pioneered ready-to-wear clothing and also created one of the most recognizable menswear – the collared button down shirt.
Brooks Brothers is located at 110 Bloor Street, Toronto and also has locations in Vancouver, Calgary as well as Flatiron Shop concept store on Bloor Street.
