Unisex accessory brand WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie recently debuted their Spring/Summer 2015 Collection at Pitti Uomo.
The entire collection was showcased in The Jamaica House – a glass house that highlighted the beautiful items through the Italian sunshine reflecting through the windows.
This collection is inspired by designers and co-founders Byron and Dexter Peart’s Jamaican heritage as well as Jamaica’s ‘seductive colours and textures’. The twins also drew inspiration from the Jamaican jockey as evidenced in totes with neutral tones accentuated by bright hues of yellow, blue and red as a nod to Jamaica’s national colours.
Colours reminiscent of the sea, palm trees and thatched raffia weaves are also incorporated in the collection together with the Tropical Garden print – an exclusive product collaboration between WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie and Liberty Art Fabrics.
The brand has also launched their first ever footwear collection which consists of the derby shoe “Monroe” and the streamlined sneaker “Lennon”, both proudly made of fine Italian leather and available in a handful of seasonal colours.
