Montreal based menswear retailer Frank and Oak has been busy since their launch 2 years ago.
The online retailer has had a collaboration with Little Burgundy, hosted a pop-up shop in Downtown Toronto, and now it looks like they have been able to raise $15 Million of investments, as reported by Forbes.com.
The $15 million raised will help the Canadian retailer boost their operation of the in-house made clothing and will help develop it’s presence in the international market, especially in the US as this is where 70% of the retailers purchases come from. This exciting news for the retailer, and for us here at Toronto Is Fashion, as we’ve been in love with the brand since they launched and can’t wait to see more from Frank & Oak.
This news comes right after the announcement that Nordstrom purchased the menswear retailer Trunk Club for $350 million. With all this money going into menswear, will we see an increase in the offering for menswear, especially online? We certainly hope so!
