We had a blast at the lighting of the Christmas tree at The Stockyards this year!
Shoppers kept the chilly weather at bay, sipping on delicious hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies from Second Cup. A dj booth set the holiday cheer to high, playing a mix of holiday classics, while free goodies were handed out to everyone in the crowd.
A large applause when the tree was lit up, including the large present boxes underneath the tree. Most of the guests stayed for only a few minutes after the tree ceremony before checking out The Stockyard’s array of stores.
This was the first time we had been out to The Stockyards. The one-stop shopping centre has stores that you would find in the mall without the congestion of traffic and people. The open-air style shopping is a nice treat for anyone who doesn’t like the crowded malls and there are plenty of retailers to choose from, including Roots, Addition Elle, Home Sense, Pier One Imports, Banana Republic and more.
Recently, the newly opened Target store at The Stockyards hosted a holiday event with special guest Ross Mathews.
