Textile Museum of Canada’s Dare to Wear Love Exhibition

The Textile Museum of Canada will be hosting the ‘Dare to Wear Love’ exhibition, showcasing a one-of-a-kind collection of original designs made for the annual ‘Dare To Wear Love‘ runway event at LG Fashion Week. The event, started in 2009 by Hoax Couture designers and founders Jim Searle and Chris Tyrell, challenges designers to create unique fashion pieces using 6 yards of African cloth, and raises resources and awareness for the Stephen Lewis Foundation and supports the efforts of grassroot organizations in Africa.

The Dare To Wear exhibition will run from February 8 to May 6, 2012, at the Textile Museum of Canada and will feature pieces by designers Brian Bailey, David Dixon, Evan Biddell, Farley Chatto, Ines Di Santo, Fashion Crimes and Linda Lundström. Most definitely an exhibition to check out!
