Yoko Ono designs Mens collection for Opening Ceremony

Artist and activist Yoko Ono has teamed up with retailer Opening Ceremony to create a mens collection for the holiday season. The collection is called “Fashions for Men 1969-2012”, and is based on drawings that Yoko Ono gave to her late husband John Lennon for their wedding. It sounds like a great background story until you see the actual collection…

Yoko Ono for Opening Ceremony - Mesh Cut-out Shirt - $145

The collection consists of  some truly strange designs like the hot pink mesh top (above), a light bulb tube-top bra (for men!), a chest plaque with doorman bells, and a butt hoodie, that many websites have been saying bears a resemblance to testicles. Our personal favourite has to be the jock strap that has LED lights on the front (can be yours for only $200).  The limited edition collection, which only has 52 pieces of each design, is available on the Opening Ceremony website. Let us know if you will be buying some Yoko Ono for Opening Ceremony for anyone on your Christmas list. See the collection below and let us know what you think of it
