“How do they do it?”
A lady leaned over and asked us as the final designer creations walked down the runway.
“We have no idea.”
Each year, we look forward to the White Cashmere Collection runway show, where fashion designers are tasked with creating outfits crafted out of Cashmere bathroom tissue. The show celebrates its tenth stunning collection to a delighted audience that included some of Canada’s most influential fashion and media personalities. A long list of designers have created dresses and accessories over the past ten years, with each year bringing a fresh and inspired take on beautiful designs made out of the unique ‘fabric.’
The collection is also a first of its kind in the world and coincides with a cause that is close to the brand’s heart. With a long running partnership with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Cashmere and its parent brand Kruger release the white and pink themed Cashmere bathroom tissue each year during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The sale of the product goes to help raise consumer awareness and funds for breast cancer research, education and health promotion.
The White Cashmere Collection kicks off the start of their goodwill campaign, and Cashmere is giving fans the chance to win a $10,000 shopping spree for choosing their favourite design from the show. The winning designer has a chance to have up to $10,000 donated to a foundation of their choice.
