This weekend, Microsoft Canada will open the doors to Toronto’s newest coffee shop – the Surface Café.
Bringing the traditional coffeehouse into the 21st century with a digital twist, the Surface Café will also offer Torontonians one of the first looks at the light-weight Surface Pro 3. To celebrate the special launch, The Microsoft Surface Cafe will host hands-on workshops with special guests including Rebecca Minkoff CEO and design partner Uri Minkoff; indie rock sensations The Darcys; acclaimed Canadian photographer Caitlin Cronenberg; DC Comics illustrator Francis Manapul and legendary Canadian entrepreneur Michael Wekerle.
In addition to trying out the new Surface Pro 3, the small device that packs the power and performance of a laptop, visitors to the Surface Café will be fueled by complimentary coffee beverages. Donations in lieu of payment are being accepted for Microsoft YouthSpark partner Kids Learning Code.
These awesome workshops are free to attend, but you have to register at www.microsoft.ca/surfacecafe to guarantee your spot! See the information below on workshop schedules and be quick to register as spaces are filling up very fast.
