Bench Spring/Summer 2014 Collection : A Mix of Bold Colour and Vintage Embellishments

We all know Bench for their colourful sweaters with their name across the collar, but this season of Bench is bringing a lot more to the brand. Bench carries multipurpose city clothing that can be worn from day to night. This season’s collection features sportswear in a variety of colours and prints which are sure to get your noticed. Look for pastel colours and floral prints as the stand outs in the women’s collection. You will find the same colour palette in the men’s collection with the addition of logo tees, button-up shirts and bright backpacks and accessories. On point with the fashion trends, you’ll see variations of key pops of colour and a vintage inspiration among several pieces in the collection (think anorak jackets and heather grey tees with worn-in embellishments).

Bench is a British born active-inspired brand which designs, sources and markets brand name but distinctive products. The brand originated in the late 80s as a niche t-shirt brand. Over the years, the brand quickly gained popularity with those ‘in the know’ who appreciated the innovativeness that Bench was able to demonstrate. Bench has developed into a widely and highly respected city clothing brand, and was named the coolest Streetwear brand by the 2007/2008 CoolBrands panel. With a reputation for producing easy-wear-clothes with a functional design it continues to be progressive, purposeful and inclusive taking its inspiration from global city cultures and the dynamic young people who bring them alive. Since the humble Manchester beginnings, Bench’s distribution has extended globally; the brand is now sold worldwide in Europe, USA, Canada and Australia. Bench has always built its collections on the individuality of real people and real products and this latest collections continues with this tradition.
