Los-Angeles based artist Alexa Meade, in partnership with Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren, will be at Hudson’s Bay Queen Street this Friday September 26, beginning at 11:00 am, for a “live painting” inside the Hudson’s Bay windows at Yonge and Richmond.
Meade is renowned for painting portraits on the human body that turn real people into seemingly 2D works of art. At Hudson’s Bay she will showcase her talent on two Denim & Supply brand ambassadors, Bobby Raffin and Tiffany Alvord. Each will be dressed in the latest styles from Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren for fall 2014.
Meade is part of Denim & Supply’s Project Warehouse fall campaign, which takes an eclectic mix of creative influencers and brings their talent to the forefront in unique and exciting ways, all while drawing inspiration from the Denim & Supply collection. Alexa Meade has been featured in exhibits at the Saatchi Gallery in London, the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery in DC, Postmasters Gallery in New York City, Galerie Ivo Kamm in Switzerland and Ingo Seufret Gallery for Contemporary Photography in German.
